Primary Purpose
Spence-Chapin has an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing & Design team as a Digital Marketing Specialist. We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative, creative, tech-savvy, digital marketing guru to grow our brand awareness and reach more individuals in need of our services. This individual will have a proven track record of building successful paid and organic digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms; collaborate with the social media coordinator to grow the organization’s online presence through creative and on-trend social media content and engagement; expand our reach through digital content opportunities and collaborations; and analyzing data to enhance digital presence across all formats. This is an in-person position with a hybrid option with an annual salary range of $60,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience.
Spence-Chapin is a non-profit organization based in New York City that has been providing adoption services and adoption support for more than 110 years. Spence-Chapin is newly licensed in Arizona. Key Performance Indicators
• Work with the Associate Director of Marketing and Design (ADM)and the team to build/maintain/implement a comprehensive digital strategy that incorporates website SEO, content development, social media platforms, digital advertising, and online networking to elevate our brand and reach more individuals
• Work with the ADM and vendors to build, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across various platforms, such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media channels.
• Explore and identify DSP opportunities
• Perform market research to inform campaigns, monitor advertising trends, social media platforms, utilizing analytics tools and tactics to keep Spence-Chapin’s content and strategies current and engaging; scale campaigns to maximize ROI
• Brainstorm and implement experiments and conversion tests
• Implement and manage SEO campaigns to increase search visibility and traffic
• Develop client journey maps and implement journey automation through website, digital advertisement, and eblast communications
• Maintain and suggest website updates in collaboration with ADM and the contracted
website maintenance team, to improve SEO
• Manage online interactions by monitoring and responding to comments, DMs, and mentions, in coordination with ADM
• Track and analyze data and report on KPIs for all digital materials, including online ads, website, social media, mentions, monitor project status and budget, etc.
• Explore and cultivate digital partnerships with other organizations, companies, and influencers to increase our reach and elevate our brand
• Additional marketing-related tasks and assignments as needed by the department
Education & Experience
• Digital Marketing or Digital Communications degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in creating and executing paid and organic digital content
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience in implementing digital strategy for an organization or company
• Experience in and/or knowledge of adoption and adoption-related issues a plus
Technical Skills
• Expertise in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok) and their management (Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Later, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of and experience in tracking website and social media data analytics
• Familiarity with basic graphic design in Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with basic photo editing, video editing a plus
• Expertise in digital production systems (WordPress)
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS, advanced knowledge of Canva
• Strong understanding of web taxonomy, UI and UX
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of SEO practices
• Expertise in mass email marketing campaigns and strong knowledge of their platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.)
• Experience with database platforms
• MS Office – Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
