Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  1. Leads all aspects of the firm’s CRM system; including directing external vendors to complete the full scope of implementation on both the marketing and business development modules. A key element will be identifying solutions to be able to better evaluate and quantify the results of our marketing efforts. Works with other Information Technology professionals throughout the firm to ensure integration of relevant internal and external data into the CRM to improve our business development and marketing efforts.

  1. Manages the firm’s website including design, functionality and analytics in accordance with accepted Web standards and in compliance with professional rules governing legal advertising.

  1. Advises on digital (paid/earned) and other multimedia campaigns, as well as email marketing.

  1. Analyzes web-based applications and databases, traffic patterns and the impact of online/offline campaigns, to strategically update and implement tools and campaigns (e.g., search engine optimization) to increase awareness of the firm.

  1. Manages the Digital Developer and other external professionals, who implement regular website and blog maintenance, conduct assigned research into new technology, create digital designs and update digital content.

  1. Manages a Data Steward who is responsible for all aspects of contact management within the CRM and takes the lead on email marketing distribution recommendations and implementation. This reporting position also drives the firm’s Industry Coding effort.

  1. Works with Business Development to oversee the firm’s proposal generation platform.

  1. Develops and oversees a multimedia tool platform (existing and new tools) for firm-wide marketing efforts. Identifies and strategically aligns the digital tools with the content created by the firm for more efficient creation and distribution, and performance analytics. Provides digital advice and finds solutions to optimize the firm’s content marketing program.
  2. Creates strategies to monitor, evaluate and leverage web traffic statistics to assure site and marketing campaign optimization and success. Runs regular metrics reports or assigns them to the Data Steward as needed.

  1. Collaborates with the Director of Marketing and the department to stay current with the latest technology and multimedia marketing tools and advancements.
  2. Works collaboratively with the firm's Information Technology Department as needed.
  3. Works to stay on top of trends [KMW1] to move the marketing team forward in the digital and multimedia space.
  4. All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient in a broad range of web and cloud-based technology, including: email marketing/marketing automation applications (Concep, MailChimp preferred), content management systems (ModX required, WordPress preferred), analytics/testing applications (Google Analytics and Google Optimize required) and proposal management tools (Qorus Breeze preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with CRM systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 required
  • Experience in creating and executing multichannel and omnichannel digital marketing campaigns using tactics such as PPC, SEM, SEO, video, podcasts, social media, other
  • Experience with data mapping, information architecture and usability best practices
  • Ability to effectively manage 3 rd party vendors, projects and people
  • Past law firm experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications preferred
  • Demonstrated creative, strategic thinker with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze issues, develop solutions and make sound decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and interact effectively with all internal customers
  • Periodic travel to firm's offices in conjunction with marketing technology-related projects

Education/Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, required
