Description

The Director of Digital Marketing is an integral leader within the Bob's Discount Furniture organization who will oversee the planning, execution, measurement and ongoing stewardship of all digital paid media strategies. This person reports to the VP of Media and Marketing Performance and will play a key role in Bob's digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line business growth and customer acquisition through search/shopping, paid social, display, video and other digital marketing channels
  • Lead paid media investment in digital channels including developing media objectives that align to business goals, and driving media strategy & plan development with agency partners
  • Lead digital media data strategy, audience development and measurement in partnership with external and internal partners
  • Manage direct partnerships with leading media partners (Google, Facebook, et al)
  • Track and manage performance in partnership with internal and external partners to develop a performance scorecard that advances the digital media investment
  • Partner with VP of Media and Marketing Performance to develop and implement a multi-channel marketing strategy
  • Manage agency partners to meet our media and marketing analytics goals
  • Develop and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships across the Bob's network (Customer Experience, Ecommerce, Finance and Consumer Insights)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in media agency planning/buying or brand marketing
    with responsibility for media planning
  • 5+ years of experience managing external agency partners or within agency
    leading client relationships
  • Experience with PowerBI, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, GA360,
    DV360 and other media tools
  • Solid Retail industry knowledge
  • Local marketing savviness
  • Hands on digital media planning experience, including media plan development and extensive social/digital platform knowledge
  • Strong project management experience, including managing both internal and external resources
  • Ability to dig into analytics to uncover the why and make adjustments
