We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Marketing for our rapidly expanding branded franchise. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing and social media strategies to drive the success of our current and future branded pharmaceutical products in the women's health market. The Director of Digital Marketing will be responsible for helping shape the brand image, creating targeted HCP/Consumer campaigns, developing meaningful customer and influencer relationships, and ensuring the successful launch and promotion of our products.
This individual contributor will be a key member of the Commercial Team and will report directly to the Vice President, Brand Sales and Marketing. They will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the culture, communication, and dynamics of a rapidly growing organization. This is a hybrid role, with time split between home office and 3 days per week in our corporate headquarters in Bridgewater, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital and Social Media Campaign Execution
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with the overall business objectives, with a focus on branded pharmaceuticals in the women's health sector.
- Identify, engage and leverage HCP and consumer social media influencers.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
Brand Management
- Establish and maintain a strong brand presence and growth trajectory for women's health products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels and promotional materials.
- Oversee the development of marketing collateral, with a focus on digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
Product Launch and Lifecycle Management
- Lead the successful launch of new Women's Health products, including market positioning, messaging, and promotional activities.
- Develop and implement lifecycle management strategies to maximize the longevity and profitability of existing products.
Market Analysis and Customer Insights
- Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Utilize customer insights to drive product development and enhance marketing effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Provide guidance to the sales team to support their efforts in promoting women's health products.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage marketing budgets to ensure optimal allocation of resources and ROI.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve marketing goals.
Desired Experience/Education and Personal Attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8 years experience in pharmaceutical marketing, Women's Health experience highly preferred.
- Deep experience in driving successful digital marketing and social media campaigns.
- Experience with alternative distribution channels.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Self-motivated, strong sense of accountability, drive for results and highly energetic individual that thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast paced environment.
