Job Summary

Great Eastern Resort Management is hiring a full-time team Digital Marketing Supervisor to assist with digital and social strategy along with campaign execution. This encompasses digital ad campaigns, content creation, resort storytelling and social media oversight for both Massanutten Resort and Wilderness Presidential Resort.

The position requirements include strategic planning, content capture, production, posting, distribution and community management of channels including social media, website, PR distribution channels and more.

This Specialist will assist in helping promote and build both Resort's brand and reputation. They will be involved in the content and creative aspects of making the Resort's story come to life while ensuring the content follows the resort's clearly defined brand and communications guidelines. They will have a hand in many different types of on-the-ground marketing and communications projects and be responsible for delivering results on-time in a fast-paced environment.

Our candidate will have experience in digital and social media ad marketing, data analysis and ad optimization/ad fatigue management techniques, content creation, storytelling, social media, and copywriting. The position will assist in both personally creating content as well as helping facilitate photoshoots with contracted photographers/models and larger third-party brand shoots.

Core Responsibilities

  • Research competitors' pricing and products and campaign strategy
  • Work with management on appropriate placement of ads
  • Determine what content will reach customers
  • Publish digital marketing content online
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns
  • Measure digital traffic
  • Monitor social media and Google Analytics working closely with data analyst and management.
  • Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
  • Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders
  • Scale campaigns to maximize ROI
  • Brainstorm and implement experiments and conversion tests
