Overview

GENERAL SUMMARY 

 

Work in Digital platforms, primarily websites and social media to increase customer engagement and business growth.  Support the execution of strategies for social media, online ads, and web content to appear in our customer’s path at the right time with the appropriate information. Expected to become a Subject Matter Expert with using web technology to support corporate strategic mission, goals, content dissemination and business development revenue goals.

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Maintains website and content, to develop a strong online presence. Edits content to improve it and implements better methods for displaying the content than what is submitted. Test functionality, usability and links. Participates in defined plans to make improvements and/or fix issues.
  • Reviews and edits all website content for accuracy and consistency with brand guidelines. Collaborates with marketing colleagues, product lines and subject matter experts to clearly market products and services. Participates with creating models for content authors to follow for easy, increased, and optimal content production.
  • Ensures content is current and seeks and recommends opportunities to utilize emerging web technologies to enhance and enrich visitor experience.
  • With direction, works with marketing peers on opportunities to build integrated marketing campaigns across digital properties to support marketing objectives. Contributes ideas and works with team on execution.  Has working knowledge on how to implement within the digital systems.
  • Captures defined data to collect and analyze from digital marketing channels to find opportunities to grow site traffic and engagement. Participates in identifying trends, insights and optimizes based on the insights.  Develops analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Participates with agency relationships; collaborates with other agencies and vendor partners.
  • Works with peers to support the use of SOPs and Best Practices Guidelines for Web, Social Media, and other digital channels.
  • Participates in brainstorming sessions to support the development of new and creative growth strategies. Executes projects to increase transactional sales, lead capture, and lead nurturing via the website.  Participates with evaluating emerging technologies.
  • Monitors social media content, posts, comments, applications and all viral aspects promoting best practices for online communications.
  • Generates defined reports on website and social media activity; to support identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Leverage software to modify graphics, buttons, advertisements, and landing pages for websites and other digital properties to ensure items are consistent with Enterprise branding guidelines.
  • Executes promotion schedule for website pages and social media; ensures collaboration with direct marketing campaigns, news releases and product releases.
  • Follows all website and social media Enterprise marketing brand guidelines with the development of new content results in no Joint Commission firewall issues from content being produced or distributed.
  • Provides training to content authors on the process of editing website content using the Web Content Management System.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, IT or related field required.
  • 0-2 years of applicable work experience.
  • Strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills.
  • Demonstrates solid communication skills both verbally and in written format.
  •  Experience in website applications including but not limited to technical and content.
  • Experience with some of the following technologies and functionality:
    • Sitecore “or equivalent” web content management systems.
    • Google Analytics.
  • Some knowledge with HTML, Adobe products (Photoshop, illustrator, etc.), MS Office (excel, power point, word), SEO, paid search, remarketing, and social media is required.
  • Graphic design experience a plus.
  • Health care experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and plan own work.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
