Overview
Canon USAs Business Imaging Solutions Group is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist (Product Marketing Specialist) for the Enterprise & Desktop Solutions team supporting office imaging technology and solutions.
This role supports the sale of Canon imageCLASS products through a variety of distribution channels, both B2B and B2C, with a lead focus on e-Commerce sales.
Join a small but awesome marketing team charged with driving sales of Canon imageCLASS laser printers through a variety of distribution channels, both contractual and transactional. This role leverages a Plan-Do-Check-Act approach to continually optimize our approach to the market, and balances a mix of strategy and analysis with content creation and go-to-market execution.
The ideal candidate for this position will bring a balance of hard and soft skills, a natural curiosity to learn and grow, and a demonstrated history of successfully executing marketing campaigns. Strong aptitude working with and deriving fact-based decisions based on quantitative and qualitative factors is a must. Bringing a positive attitude and interest in working in a collaborative culture is also a must.
Responsibilities
- Manage divisional search and programmatic advertising efforts with key retail channel partners [Amazon, Staples, Best Buy, Office Depot, Walmart, Costco, etc.]. Maximize engagement and conversion.
- Analyze traffic and revenue drivers across multiple mediums (organic, paid search, social media, internal site referral, etc.) and provide recommendations to guide investment strategy, content strategy and SEO strategy.
- Analyze available 1st party and 3rd party customer data to guide customer journey across all relevant phases of the buying process.
- Lead brand protection marketing initiatives focused on defending Canon Genuine consumables against third party offerings, ensuring proper IP compliance, and minimizing sales through unauthorized sales channels.
- Contribute to research, planning and development of subscription-based programs. Study customer needs, competitive offerings and partner requirements, and contribute to evolution of these programs across multiple distribution channels.
- Lead efforts working with customer call center to implement initiatives to maximize customer satisfaction and control costs.
- Work with available market data to provide insights for customer presentations. Lead research partner relationships and manage ad hoc needs.
- Support key projects on the B2B side through our authorized reseller channel, including contributing to managed print service program development, and driving marketing awareness and interest in our available partner programs.
- Develop vertical-focused marketing to position our products across multiple industries, based on research and understanding of customer needs.

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree is required.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be comfortable with and have interest in working both individually and within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Experience managing search and programmatic advertising campaigns a plus
- Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, Amazon vendor and/or advertising teams and E-Commerce experience a plus.
- Must be able to travel up to 10%.
