The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the Digital Marketing Team that is part of the Web & Creative Services group within Allegis IS, and works closely with internal operating company (OpCo) clients to provide social media support, email marketing support, and press release distribution for various marketing initatives. The successful candidate will have experience managing content and campaigns across multiple digital channels, but will primarily focus on social media and email in this role. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the social media landscape from an organizational level, can think creatively and analytically at the same time and drive the success of each social channel including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Specialist will create and manage email marketing campaigns and produce reports that analyze the performance of each campaign.
*Manage social media channels for internal clients, both paid and organic
*Monitor conversations across social media channels and address/escalate important issues, daily conversations and engagements in real time through engagement, escalation and documentation
*Create and manage social content editorial calendars for multiple clients, working closely with the digital marketing teams from each operating company
*Partner and collaborate with operating companies to develop and implement annual social strategies that align with strategic business goals
*Evaluate key social and email metrics and create weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to inform strategy and provide actionable insights
*Develop and manage social advertising budgets and spend
*Execution of email campaigns out of our two email tools ---Higher Logic and Salesforce Email Studio
*Manage the email campaign process to include (but not limited to) creating segments, scheduling, planning, appending tracking codes, creative development with design team, set-up, review, QA, deployment, reporting and analysis
*Planning and execution of large-scale email campaigns across multiple brands
*Conduct A/B and multivariate testing of email messages and landing pages to improve performance
*Manage relationship with relevant vendors
*Stay up-to-date on social media and email industry trends and best practices
*Have a clear understanding of email SPAM laws (US, Canada & Europe) and stay current with industry regulations
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
*Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing/Communication
*3 - 5 years' experience in a marketing field using social media
*Experience using the following social channels on behalf of an organization: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube
*Understanding of all social channel analytics, such as Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.
*Knowledge of Facebook advertising, LinkedIn advertising and Twitter advertising platforms
*Proficiency with Social Studio (part of Salesforce Marketing Cloud) or similar social platform to manage content across social channel
*Experience executing email campaigns through email service provider such as Higher Logic, Constant Contact, Mailchimp or similar service
*Working knowledge of HTML, Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel), Adobe Suite (primarily Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Acrobat)
*Exceptional customer service
