At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join the Lighting Sector Finelite Team in Union City, CA. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, has a deep understanding of various platforms and is highly adept at creating a variety of new B2B content for various campaigns, educational seminars and training events. The successful candidate will understand the importance of storytelling and making ideas come alive through words, images, videos and other supporting material.

What Will You Do?

Digital Strategy:

  • Develop and implement the social media strategy to drive awareness through engaging content across a variety of digital channels.
  • Manage social media accounts and analyze performance metrics.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to optimize strategies.

Content Creation:

  • Create engaging content to support a wide variety of marketing activities including digital strategy, product launches, educational webinars, videos, tech sheets, etc.
  • Develop and deploy Continuing Education (CEU) registered AIA seminars on a variety of lighting topics.
  • Stay up to date on technological advancements in the industry and apply learnings to marketing content creation.

Sales Support:

  • Manage tradeshows and on-site training events including interfacing with vendors, booth design and build and any other internal and external coordination as required.
  • Plan and host customer events including logistics arrangement, networking activities, training programs, etc.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • 4+ years digital marketing experience.
  • 4+ years copywriting experience.
  • Proven experience as a social media specialist including in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver, display advertising, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, juggling projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to travel.
