The Digital Marketing Specialist will support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager by recommending, developing, and implementing customer-centric digital strategies and tactics. The role involves efficiently utilizing D365, our CRM platform and Sitecore, our Content Management System, and other digital tools to create, optimize, and distribute compelling content across channels to drive customer engagement and contribute to business growth.

This role focuses on improving our website and online Customer Center, an extension of our Sales and Customer Service Teams. The person should have a strong passion for using digital tools to enhance the customer experience. Quick adoption and a thorough understanding of Innophos’ Sales and Marketing procedures, strategies, goals, and analytics is important.

This role offers an optional hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote per week.

High-Level Expectations

  • Utilize a customer-centric approach to create content that resonates with target audiences.

  • Provide support and contribute to the execution of our comprehensive multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.

  • Actively participate in monthly Digital Analytics and Campaign Analytics meetings.

  • Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between digital marketing initiatives and overall business goals.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities in the digital space to identify new opportunities for Innophos.

  • Learn and implement SEO strategies to optimize our online presence and improve search engine rankings.

Key Responsibilities

(1) Website & Customer Center Champion

  • Customer Center Membership Approvals– Manage end-to-end approval process for new Customer Center member requests in Sitecore, collaborating with the Commercial Team.

  • Customer Center Inquiries– Review inquiries directed to designated digital mailboxes: [Click Here to Email Your Resumé], [Click Here to Email Your Resumé], and [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]. Respond promptly to user requests, both internal and external, and actively engage with end users to identify areas for improvement. Serve as liaison with technical teams to identify, reproduce issues, and verify issue resolution.

  • Customer Center Training– Provide website training, tips, and tricks to Customers, Distributors, and Employees, establishing oneself as the go-to resource and power user of the website Customer Center.

  • Lead Routing in Microsoft D365– Execute lead routing in CRM by reviewing all Contact Us submissions from the website and assigning them to the appropriate Innophos Team Members. Monitor document downloads and other website related activities in CRM and contribute to lead scoring initiatives.

(2) Sitecore Content Management Support

  • Customer Center Products– Ensure product database accuracy by collaborating with the Business Management Team to add, edit, or remove Product Pages.

  • Customer Center Documents– Manage website documentation by uploading new or revised documents from ETQ to the website and maintaining version control. Monitor document expiration dates and collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, and Technology teams to ensure document relevancy and accuracy.

  • Sitemap Enhancement– Familiarize yourself with the Innophos.com sitemap by conducting a comprehensive review of each section of the website. Provide recommendations for new or optimized content to enhance website effectiveness.

  • Landing Pages– Acquire proficiency in building landing pages in Sitecore and take ownership of select page types such as News & Events, Product Pages, and Campaign Landing Pages.

  • Website Development– Collaborate with our website development partner, and work with internal and external teams to gather requirements for digital marketing projects. Manage tickets in the Jira issue and project tracking platform. Conduct User Acceptance Testing for monthly website deployments on desktop and mobile.

(3) Digital Content Creation, Organization, and Optimization

  • Media Library Management– Organize and optimize images and documents in the Sitecore Media Library including consistent file naming, alt text, and image dimensions.

  • Google Business Profile– Lead the Google Business Local project and optimize Innophos location pages to enhance online presence and visibility.

  • Search Engine Optimization(SEO)– Ensure adherence to SEO best practices across all website pages, including title tags, meta descriptions, internal hyperlinks, and target keywords.

  • Website Content Creation– Utilize marketing assets such as brochures, videos, and press releases to craft compelling web content, including headlines, introductory paragraphs, and calls to action. Collaborate with the Marketing team for review and integration into digital efforts.

  • Multi-Language Support– Assist in managing content on Innophos.cn in both English and Simplified Chinese. Create News Articles and Product Pages to enhance the site’s effectiveness.

RequiredEducation and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree: Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in Sitecore or a similar Content Management System.

  • Basic understanding of multi-channel marketing principles and customer journey mapping.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to create compelling, customer-centric content.

  • Strong interest in learning and growing in Digital Marketing, demonstrating a proactive approach to professional development.

  • Analytical mindset for interpreting data and deriving actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and optimizing content for improved search engine visibility.

  • Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects against timelines.

  • Strong initiative-taker, effective in working without direct supervision.

  • Accuracy, diligence, and strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
