Digital Marketing Specialist

You understand SEO best practices, your understanding of search and social advertising platforms is on-point, and you are willing to learn advanced tactics you may not have experience in. You measure everything twice, and then optimize some more.

You pioneer strategy, do research, review analytics, and guide design intention and messaging. You are proud of the work you do and enjoy interacting with clients and all aspects of our team. With support from our marketing team, you own the marketing results and outcomes for all our clients.

Activities can include creating marketing strategy recommendations for new clients, analyzing data and maintaining strategic reporting, creating social media messaging for organic social media strategies, doing research and recommending paid media strategies, creating ad briefs & working with the creative team to produce the assets, curate content with our content manager, manage several marketing platforms, and maintain client dashboard continuity.



Execute SEO strategies which optimize organic search rankings

Identify, monitor, and implement recommendations for campaign and search KPI’s

Work with all team functions - social media, creative, copywriting, web design and development - to implement SEO recommendations such as:

Keyword research, site audits, navigation & conversion analysis & specifications throughout web site pages

UI, UX, and site design recommendations

Manage internal and external link profiles for link building strategies

Manage client digital location listings platform


Defines buyer personas & audience segmentation - identify target audiences and develop strategies that deliver relevant content to drive conversions

Leads reputation management services including monitoring reviews & profiles

Identifies blog topics, optimize website content and writes advertising copy

Manages and assists with organic social media management of internal and external company social network profiles


Assists with the creation and management of paid search, social and digital programmatic campaigns

Perform daily management of these campaigns which includes, but is not limited to: campaign launches, budget & bid management, analytics tracking and optimizations

Provides recommendations on paid creative formats and dimensions dependent on campaign strategy and objectives

Excels in internal and external cross-team communication to report campaign insights and also troubleshoot campaign support issues

Ability to communicate directly with clients

Stays current with the latest paid advertising practices for both B2C and B2B businesses


Builds and maintains KPI reports, campaign scorecard development and management, reporting templates and reporting dashboards for clients & internal teams

Collects, analyzes and interprets data to provide insights as to what the numbers mean for the customer’s current paid campaigns as well as long-term strategies



2 year college degree or equivalent experience

2 years of experience managing digital marketing campaigns

Search engine marketing and SEO experience

Strong understanding of technical, onsite, local and offsite SEO strategies

Basic understanding of HTML

Track record of success with documented results

Evidence of career progression with growth and commitment

Frequent experience with Microsoft Office and Google G-Suite product families

Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment

Strong organization skills

Understanding of Google Tag manager implementation

Experience with website tracking pixel placement

Experience with conversion tracking via UTM URL building

Great written and interpersonal communication skills

Experience building ads with Facebook Business Manager & Google Ads Platform


1+ year experience working in an agency environment

Understanding of key performance metrics for search engine marketing

Experience managing paid advertising campaigns on the Bing and/or Linkedin Ads platform

PPC management & analytics experience

Google Data Studio, Dashboard experience, and/or experience with Agency Analytics

Specific experience with Yext listings platform

Regularly follow industry news sites like SEJ, Search Engine Land, Moz, etc

Holds certifications for Google Adwords and Google Analytics


2+ years experience working in an agency environment

Experience in Asana or Teamwork task management softwares

Outside interests - hobbies, active roles in organizations, community involvement

Experience managing direct reports
