PlanIT Group is hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist- Remote. This is a long term contract.
The Digital Marketing Specialist should have diverse skills and hands-on experience with SEO, social media, paid media (search marketing and social media marketing), content management, project management, and web analytics. This role will assist with executing digital marketing strategies to enhance and achieve business goals. The candidate must be self-motivated with strong critical thinking skills and enjoy working autonomously through team projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SEO (Search Engine Optimization):
Conduct comprehensive keyword research and optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and on-page elements to enhance search engine rankings.
Experience creating, curating, and managing content on various social media platforms to build and maintain an online presence for a business.
Develop social media strategies, plan and schedule posts, engage with the audience, analyze performance metrics, and stay updated on industry trends.
Paid Media (Search Marketing and Social Media Marketing):
Plan and execute paid search advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and social media promotions (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
Create compelling ad copy that drives engagement.
Build and target audiences based on specific demographics and user segments.
Content Managemen t:
Optimize all content types for SEO, including business service pages, blog posts, articles, and multimedia.
Utilize the corporate CMS (Umbraco) to publish and update content on multiple websites, focusing on accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure grammatical accuracy, adherence to the organization's style guide, and a user-friendly information architecture.
Enhance user experience through well-designed page layouts.
Ensure content accessibility for disabled users, following web accessibility standards (WCAG).
Collaborate with developers, designers, marketers, and other stakeholders for an integrated approach to website content.
Develop project plans, considering timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and content creators, to ensure seamless execution of digital assets and campaigns.
Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics/LookerStudio) to track and analyze content performance, including page views, engagement metrics, and conversion rates.
Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform data-driven decision-making.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on digital marketing experience within an enterprise or marketing agency environment.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Products, including Analytics and Search Console, DataStudio (LookerStudio), and Tag Manager
Proficient with website content management systems like WordPress, Joomla, Umbraco or Kentico
Bachelor's Degree related to Internet Marketing or Digital Marketing.
