Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in executing comprehensive marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and in collaboration with Marketing team members, consultants, and agencies, the Specialist will be responsible for website management, optimization of digital campaigns, and oversight of analytics and reporting of digital marketing performance. The Specialist will support and collaborate with both external partners and internal teams for effective digital marketing strategies in order to achieve our organizational strategic goals of alleviating hunger in our community and service areas.

Requirements

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Website Updates and Optimization (30%)

  • Own and execute the creation of highly engaging web experiences for website visitors, including: donors, volunteers, and neighbors seeking food assistance
  • Implement regular updates to our website, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Identify opportunities for improvements, continually optimizing website for conversions and ensuring a good user experience experienceDigital Campaign Optimization (30%)
  • Collaborate with external partners to execute strategies and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze performance data to refine and enhance campaign effectiveness
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to identify and execute optimization opportunities Analytics and Reporting (40%)
  • Ensure proper tracking is in place for campaigns
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of digital marketing initiatives
  • Generate regular reports on digital performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure ROI and track progress against goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's degree (A.A.) (or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school) and 3+ years of experience in digital marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer proficiency in Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Software, specifically Word and Excel
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and reporting tools
  • Experience with WordPress, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with APIs and JSON preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred but not required
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual.
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the food bank
  • Ability to effectively analyze situations and resolve routine and complex problems
  • Adept at handling multiple tasks and concurrent projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
