This person will constantly devise ways to improve our digital organizational performance. A successful Digital Marketing Specialist will excel in reporting, analytics, outbound consumer/recruiting digital initiatives and constantly push the boundaries of digital marketing and help us reach new heights in the veterinary industry.


  • Responsible for managing, implementing, and overseeing marketing automation, demand generation, paid and organic search, inbound marketing, experimentation, personalization, tag management, and data analytics.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility, drive website traffic, and generate leads for our veterinary services and recruiting initiatives.
  • Presenting and communicating directly with client teams, including stakeholders with varying levels of digital marketing knowledge.
  • Provide ongoing digital best practices advice and recommendations for marketing and clinic needs.
  • Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, monitoring and optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Assist in day-to-day management and updates of websites for the company and all our associated companies across the network.
  • Assist in managing outbound SEM marketing activities, including but not limited to: researching branded, non-branded, and competitive keywords to enhance campaign performance and delivering weekly and monthly performance reports, focusing on keyword, CTR, and conversion metrics.
  • Manage full-funnel consumer and recruiting email marketing plan creation and execution.
  • Work cross-functionally to support activities for internal Recruiting, Marketing and clinic support, including outbound digital options, analytics, testing, and more.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline prospecting, marketing, and nurturing consumer and recruiting campaigns to drive quality leads and build a prospect pipeline.
  • Oversee the creation and updating of all training materials and provide training to new and existing users as necessary on existing and new features or policies.
  • Define, document, and implement digital policies and procedures.
  • Document workflows, reports, dashboards, and other KPIs and metrics to meet business unit needs.
  • Must be a positive person who will embrace our "just wag" culture.


  • BS/BA degree in marketing, data science or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Detail-focused with strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and issues, and self-direct work.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with an ability to train and support users with a wide range of technical abilities.
  • Prefer experience with implementing dashboards, reporting, and metrics
  • A passion for pets and people
