Position Summary: As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will assist with development and implementation of broad strategies to enhance the Samuels Group digital user experience, online brand visibility, client engagement, and business growth. This includes website design and management, digital marketing campaigns, paid media, social media, writing content, performance measurement, and more. This role also assists with event planning. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for working both independently and as part of a team.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
The following duties are normal for this position and are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required or assigned.
- Collaborate with both internal and external teams to develop and execute digital content plans for ads, emails, websites, community outreach plans, and events. Coordinate with appropriate team members to ensure active promotions and campaigns are represented on digital marketing platforms. Present design ideas and recommendations; create project briefs and provide insight and guidance as needed.
- Manage content calendar for website, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
- Update website including project portfolio pages and blog articles.
- Assist with email campaigns.
- Create social media posts and campaigns.
- Draft, implement, maintain, and revise quality content across a variety of digital mediums.
- Develop/define standards for measuring content success on all channels.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, campaigns, and social media platforms.
- Assist with marketing communications ensuring message continuity and alignment with brand aesthetics.
- Stay current with the digital best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
- Support Business Development Managers with lead qualification through HubSpot.
- Support marketing operations initiatives in CRM
- Assist with planning and participating in events, tradeshows, and client celebrations to include sponsorships, advertising, registration, staff scheduling, travel arrangements, booth needs, promotional items, door prizes, signage, packing/unpacking, follow-ups/thank-you, etc. Promote events via social media and email campaigns as needed. May require travel to key events to gather photo and/or video content.

- Results-driven achiever with ability to attain goals, complete tasks, and generate solutions to issues that may arise.
- Must be able to ask questions, listen to, receive and give verbal and written instructions and directions in a professional manner.
- Basic understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards is helpful.
- Substantial experience with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Demonstrated experience with HubSpot, SEO, PPC, and Deltek Vision a plus.
- Graphic design, photography, and videography experience is a plus.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of experience developing and implementing digital marketing strategies.
- 3-5 years of social media and email marketing experience.
- Experience working with third-party agencies.
