- A minimum of two years' professional experience on a digital or content marketing team
- Direct experience with WordPress CMS

- Bachelor's degree
- Familiarity with social platforms and respective audiences

- Copywriting and proofreading/editing experience
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines
- Working knowledge of financial marketing
- Working knowledge of inbound marketing, email marketing, online advertising and analytics

Position Description
The Digital Marketing Specialist is an integral part of the Marketing team and will provide assistance on a variety of duties in support of strategic goals and brand expression. This position has exposure to all areas of the business, including community outreach, operations, and product optimization as well as relationships with partners, outside agencies, and vendors.
- Integrate online efforts with marketing communications and outreach activities to deliver optimal business support, including email campaigns, landing pages, webinars, social posts, etc.
- Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling, including regular financial blog posts.
- Implement a content strategy that fosters audience development and drives conversions.
- Lead the execution and optimization of paid digital advertising.
- Lead the creation, monitoring, and optimization of the website chat bot.
- Analyze and report on key metrics to provide actionable insights into customer behavior across digital channels.
- Grow the Credit Union's online community and monitor social channels for customer feedback, delivering high-quality service standards while advocating for the HUECU brand.
- Coordinate vendor relationships to ensure efficient and effective use of external resources.
- Assist in website management for all HUECU online properties.
- Provide event support as needed.
- Perform various administrative and other duties to support the Marketing department.

Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the creation, optimization, maintenance, and measurement of HUECU web content, digital advertising, and social media. The position will report to the Brand Communications Manager, working with them to maintain alignment with advertising goals, content strategy and outreach efforts. This position will also work closely with the Digital Experience team to enhance the user experience, generate qualified leads, and deepen customer engagement across all digital channels.

Work Format Details
This is a hybrid position that is based in Massachusetts. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
