Solution Agency is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our rapidly growing digital marketing department.
Candidate must be located in the Cincinnati Ohio area, this is an on-site position.
Solution Agency is a full-service digital agency that provides web design, web development, video, animation, photography, branding design, and digital marketing services.
Our digital marketing department is small, but growing fast! We work with local and national-level clients in both B2B and B2C verticals. We provide digital marketing services in the areas of search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), social media marketing, content marketing, and more.
What You'll Do
You will assist the digital marketing team with a wide variety of client-facing and internal digital marketing needs, as well as assist in project coordination/organization. You'll participate in the creation of strategic digital marketing plans and the implementation of solutions across various digital marketing channels. You'll analyze metrics and help to determine actionable insights from the data. This position will have a heavy focus on technical SEO implementations, SEO content building, data analysis, client communication, and Google Ads management.
Who We're Looking For
You have a working knowledge of a variety of digital marketing tactics, platforms, and project coordination skills. Ideally, you have some hands-on experience setting up and running the day-to-day operations of digital marketing campaigns across SEO, PPC, content, and social media. You must be an enthusiastic, high-energy team player looking to increase your knowledge base and gain exposure to clients in many industries.
Must Haves:
- Understanding of SEO principles/best practices and hands-on SEO implementation experience
- Understanding of paid advertising - Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.
- Knowledge of different digital marketing principles – competitive research, keyword research, etc.
- Understanding of different digital marketing KPIs and analytics, and generating analysis from data.
- Previous work, internship, or other experience in relevant field(s) (i.e. communication, digital marketing, copywriting, ad agency environment, etc.)
- Ad copy and long-form content writing skills
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Problem-solving skills, you don’t have to know the answer to every question, but you need to have the skills to find the correct answer
- Comfortable interfacing with clients and other teams in a professional manner over email, video calls, and in-person
Good To Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Previous agency experience
- Experience in a client-facing role
- Project management experience
- Experience setting up conversion tracking via Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc. - particularly experience with GA4
- Experience with digital marketing tools (Moz, SemRush, SpyFu, Screaming Frog, Swydo, etc.)
- Social media management experience, experience building social audiences/interaction and creating organic social post content
- Email marketing experience
- Graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Certified in Google Ads
- Basic HTML knowledge
- Basic WordPress knowledge
- Comfortable with public speaking and delivering presentations
- Quick wit, and a good sense of humor. Strong cornhole and darts game.

Additional Information
- The compensation package is based on skill set and experience and includes health and dental insurance, the opportunity to earn bonuses, and a well-stocked snack and beverage bar.
- Interviews are typically conducted virtually over a Google Meet video. If you would prefer to interview in person we can also accommodate in-person meetings at our office or at a 3rd party meeting location with advanced notice.
- This position is a hybrid in-office position. Our team works from home on Mondays and every other Friday, with structured check-ins each morning, and virtual communication throughout the day on these work-from-home days. You are expected to be in the on-site office Tuesday-Thursday and every other Friday when we are not working from home.
