This is a full-time career opportunity based in Portland, Maine that provides both remote and on-site work options with a required minimum of three days a week in the office.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for generation of video, photography, digital design creation, making edits to our website, web analytics management, and copywriting, all while ensuring the Bank’s brand and its subsidiaries are presented consistently and effectively. The right candidate will have professional-level competencies in website development and design, data & analytics, and graphic design.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development, creation, and production of videos, including brand, promotional, and product videos.

  • Create and edit video content for multi-platform use and distribution including online and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest) and website.

  • Assist Marketing Supervisor and Marketing Manager with ongoing website content updates and creation of campaign landing pages, including photography and video.

  • Create and optimize website content and structure for search engines to improve organic search rankings and increase organic traffic.

  • Responsible for developing, analyzing, and reporting on web analytics using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

  • Assist with the conceptualization, graphic design, and workflow of marketing collateral (print and digital) to support business lines, bank initiatives, and campaigns.

  • Consistently evaluate market changes, trends, and developments and update the marketing team to help improve the bank’s marketing strategies across digital and social platforms.

  • Manage and develop tracking and reporting metrics and trends with strategic analysis and recommendations.

  • Help ensure that the Bank remains, always, in compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations pertaining to marketing and online communications.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree recommended but not required.

  • Excellent graphic design, written and oral communication skills with hyper attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Animate.

  • Professional competencies in photography and editing experience for marketing.

  • Professional competencies in in video creation and editing.

  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS.

  • Ability to design and develop high-converting landing pages that align with marketing campaigns and objectives.

  • Knowledge of web analytics including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

  • Knowledge of SEO tools and principles.

  • Analytical and results-driven mindset.

  • Project management skills with ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent customer experience abilities.

  • Ability to successfully manage the completion of multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to function efficiently and effectively under deadlines.

  • Works harmoniously with others in a fast-paced, deadline and detail-oriented department.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced and unique company environment.

Operational/Compliance Leadership:

  • Assists in ensuring that the Bank complies with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Participate in initiatives to improve bank processes and procedures.

Physical Demands/Conditions Requirements:

  • General office environment;

  • Moderate lifting (to 35 lbs.) required. Moderate reaching, walking, sitting, and standing required.

  • Valid driver’s license and availability to independently travel to various locations within the Bank’s footprint required.
