The Digital Marketing Specialist manages the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing evolution of the organization's interactive/social media initiatives (consumer/researcher, employee, physician, patient). The primary purpose of the role is to plan and execute all digital marketing for Baptist Health, including search engine optimization, search engine marketing, email, social media, display advertising, mobile, and other campaigns. The goal of those efforts will be to grow the patient volumes and to position the Baptist Health brands as the preferred healthcare provider in Central Alabama through digital marketing and social media. This position may have additional duties assigned as needed.Description

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Web Design, Digital Media Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • One to two years related portal platform work experience.
  • Three years Information Service or marketing experience.
  • Three years project experience.
  • Previous involvement in corporate or agency projects preferred, including three+ years experience with Internet/e-Business applications development and initiatives.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO and SEM, marketing database, email, social media and or display advertising campaigns.
  • Detail oriented and highly analytical.
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A and B and multivariate experiments.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools.
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords and Facebook campaigns. Strong analytical skills and data driven thinking. Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
