Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will develop and drive comprehensive multichannel marketing strategies for Drake Online programs.

Core responsibilities include but not limited to: conducting strategic market research, developing, executing, and managing program promotions, producing reports, creating graphics, and monitoring and maintaining Drake Online website and monitoring analytics of promotion strategies.

Upon successful completion of the onboarding process and ongoing satisfactory performance, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with some time spent working on campus and some time working from home.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or closely related field

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) to create design layouts for print and digital communications, flyers, postcards, resource materials, landing pages, and other special projects

• Knowledge of SEO/SEM

• Exceptional interpersonal, writing, editing, and proofreading skills

• Ability to think creatively and independently to develop innovative approaches and communications strategy

• Knowledge of social media (such as: Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok) and familiarity with, and/or eagerness to learn, web content management systems (such as: Terminal 4, WordPress, Drupal)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum two years’ experience in marketing or communications

• Knowledge and skills querying data repositories and structured data sources (i.e., Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Workforce Development, Gray Associate’s PES+ Markets or Lightcast Analyst)

Job Duties:

20% - Conduct strategic market research, including evaluations of the competitive landscape, environmental scans, surveys, interviews, and focus groups. - (Essential)

20% - Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive and measurable program promotion plans. - (Essential)

20% - Assess data and produces reports, charts and tables by querying data repositories and agencies. - (Essential)

15% - Create graphic design work for a variety of digital platforms: email, web, and social media communications. Creates, maintains, and continually improves the Drake Online website and social media communications. - (Essential)

10% - Monitors analytics for the Drake Online website. - (Essential)

10% - Monitors social media analytics and provides reports on promotion strategies on all digital platforms. - (Essential)

5% - Perform other duties, as assigned. - (Essential)

Salary & Benefits

We anticipate a starting salary of at least $60,000. However, the final offered salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
