OozeX is the next logical step for the evolution of Ooze. We are experts in our field, and with the massive success of our Slim Twist Vape Pen, a line of premium concentrates at an affordable price point just makes sense. Our customers trust us for quality and approachability when it comes to hardware, and OozeX will translate that same expertise with our extracts. Through our messaging and price points, we intend to make concentrates an accessible option for novice and veteran users alike.

OozeX has hit the market through a partnership with Ooze and Trucenta. Trucenta is a vertically integrated cannabis company with outdoor and indoor cultivation, processing, manufacturing, wholesale distribution and retail. Trucenta has over 50,000 square feet of indoor cultivation throughout southeast Michigan and a 30-acre farm - their processing lab is Michigan’s largest capacity cannabis oil extraction facility.

As the Digital Marketing Specialist for OozeX, you will be joining during an exciting time of growth and start-up. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to interpret brand pillars, goals, and campaigns and adapt to a monthly and yearly marketing planning and activation calendar that embodies the OozeX brand and visual aesthetic. The ideal candidate will have a digital-first approach and the ability to be nimble and juggle various projects that change in real time. Attention to detail and the ability to both see the big picture and execute day-to-day activations is a must. A pulse on what is happening in the industry, digital space and beyond is of utmost importance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Enthusiasm champion, aligning the team on strategy, tactics, and daily activities to exceed sales expectations and build the brand(s).
  • Develop monthly/quarterly campaigns and implement them including but not limited to paid media, web, social media, email, text, Weedmaps, LeafLink.
  • Maintaining store menus and how our product is digitally merchandised across all e-commerce platforms.
  • Ensuring all digital marketing assets are prepared, delivered, and executed to stores leading up to events. This includes gaining a full understanding of each individual retailers’ capabilities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders on integrated programs that drive target audiences from awareness through action in ways that contribute to sales.
  • Develop and own briefs to prep and inspire the design team (in-house, freelancers, and partner agencies) to create engaging, on-brand, and meaningful content.
  • Work with appropriate cross-functional team (CFT) to brief and source copy points and edit accordingly for each channel – product launches, branding, signage, etc.
  • Ensures content is presented with quality and accuracy and verifies that the merchandised product aligns with the campaign theme; provides quality assurance for digital marketing assets.
  • Guide the production and publishing of digital marketing assets, including blog posts, ebooks, infographics, social posts, landing pages, emails, digital ads, and more.
  • Stay abreast of algorithmic changes and social platform updates; be at the forefront of what is happening in the space and propose new platforms to enter and first to market programs.
  • Become an OozeX brand and product expert.


  • Minimum 21 years of age (or as required by state regulations)
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 4+ years of previous digital marketing and/or creative content marketing experience required.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and experience in managing and growing brands.
  • Experience working with a design or creative team and agency partners.
  • Strong understanding and interest in cannabis and vaping market trends and the cultural landscape, with the ability to seek out new ideas and approaches that align with the OozeX brand.
  • Elevated creative eye and aesthetic; strong creative vision and skills in photo, video, and design.
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, a problem-solver with the ability to take ownership and initiative, work efficiently and strategically while balance competing priorities.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills the ability to stay positive.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Photography and video editing skills are a plus + working knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Email/Text, Klavio, Asana and similar platforms is a plus.
