The Digital Marketing Specialist works closely with team members across the organization to execute digital marketing initiatives that connect wounded service members, their family members, and their caregivers with events, programs, and activities. The Digital Marketing Specialist provides strategic recommendations for digital marketing enhancements and email campaigns, implements and optimizes campaigns based on performance data.


  • Strategically works alongside the team, department teammates and key stakeholders to thoughtfully execute projects that will strengthen and uphold client's brand identity and voice through a variety of digital channels.
  • Edit, design and deploy weekly warrior post email campaigns through Salesforce Marketing Cloud and publish content to the client's website with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Following email marketing best practices, design, implement and manage advanced email journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support client's program and event initiatives, ensuring emails are designed to be responsive utilizing HTML and CSS.
  • Build audiences with Salesforce Marketing Cloud utilizing Salesforce CRM.
  • Analyze performance data and identify segmentation opportunities for targeted emails and paid digital campaigns.
  • Implement and ensure accurate UTM tracking and appropriate tagging within Google Tag Manager to measure effectiveness of communications.
  • Create QR Codes for various client programs, working with data and analytics team to enable campaign performance tracking.
  • Provide support, optimization suggestions, and performance reporting for paid digital engagement campaigns, including social, paid search, and display campaigns.
  • Analyze digital campaign and email metrics to provide appropriate optimizations to reach engagement and acquisition goals.
  • Remain up to date with digital campaign and email best practices, proposing updates to client's processes when needed to stay competitive with industry standards.
  • Manage client's app and mobile web experience, updating content and behind-the-scenes tracking to provide a high-quality user experience and increase event registrations and self-referrals.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in Marketing and Marketing Operations on special assignments, including GA4 transition, Salesforce Marketing Cloud expansion, client's website, annual surveys and reports, and other performance data.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • 3 years of experience in the digital marketing field
  • 1 year of experience utilizing Google Analytics and providing relevant insights to key stakeholders
  • 1 year of experience utilizing Google Analytics and providing relevant insights to key stakeholders
  • 1-3 years of first-hand experience planning, implementing, and managing paid digital campaigns
  • 3 years of experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • 3 years of experience using Salesforce CRM


  • 1-3 years of experience utilizing Google Tag Manager to implement tags and triggers across websites and digital campaigns
  • 1 year experience managing digital apps
  • 1 year experience utilizing Google Marketing Platform programs, including Campaign Manager 360, Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360
  • 1 year experience of marketing within the non-profit industry
  • 1-3 years of experience using web content management system (CMS)


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field. Equivalent combination of education or experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
