About the Role

William Murray Golf (WMG) is changing the way people dress on the golf course. Since we started in 2016, our vision has always been to break away from the sea of blue striped polos and infuse the game with a little irreverence and a lot of personality. As the Digital Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and performance of growth campaigns to drive ROI. Your charge will be to increase overall brand awareness and drive traffic to our online store by building and executing best-in-class growth campaigns to achieve customer acquisition and retention goals leveraging paid and SEO tactics.

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team to tell our story across ALL digital channels and platforms so we reach the right customers at the right time.

Your days will be challenging, but very fulfilling, as you will operate with great autonomy to determine, quantify, and prioritize digital growth opportunities while working with cross-functional teams to meet business and brand goals.

What You Will Bring, Do, and Own

  • Build and execute best-in-class growth campaigns to achieve customer acquisition and retention goals leveraging paid and SEO tactics
  • Manage a data-driven approach to build a testing roadmap and iterate and optimize campaigns on a weekly basis to exceed business goals
  • Be the subject-matter-expert for growth marketing tactics and eCommerce industry trends
  • Develop audience lists using MarTech tools to acquire new customers and increase lifetime value
  • Manage end-to-end growth channels (strategy, audiences, creative, planning, execution, budgeting, tracking, reporting, analysis, and optimization)
  • Own internal processes to deliver on-time and flawless campaign execution including campaign kickoffs, assets/creative requests, campaign setup, QA, etc.
  • Manage annual digital media budget optimization, allocation, and invoice approvals
  • Proactive weekly monitoring and analysis of campaign data to identify optimization opportunities across channels to exceed channel goals
  • Establish an email and SMS marketing strategy – timing, cadence, segmentation and performance measurements to continue to lower customer acquisition costs
  • Work with creative team to assist in the copy and visual design for email and other marketing promotional materials
  • Create and monitor A/B testing strategy for creative and audiences across channels to improve overall effectiveness
  • Act as the “quarterback” when managing outside agencies responsible for ad spend – make sure they know what they are spending, how to spend, what audiences to target, etc.
  • Be the budget allocator across all channels to ensure ad spend is efficient at driving qualified traffic to the site – with a focus on SEO, SEM, social and programmatic

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years professional experience in marketing automation
  • 3+ years of digital campaign content creation and/or promoting company brand
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A track record of being a strong problem solver with keen analytical skills
  • Skills to present and convince business stakeholders ~ driving value for the business
  • An ability to see the big picture and to focus on details when necessary
  • Experience in the sports apparel industry is a plus
