GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Digital Strategy Manager, reporting to the Marketing Director, is responsible for defining and overseeing the execution of the company's digital marketing strategy and roadmap. This exciting role will lead a team of digital marketers and define the company's long-term plan in using digital marketing and technologies to support revenue growth, product commercialization, lead generation, and brand-building activities. Is the trusted source of digital marketing expertise and provides routine guidance to internal teams on how to maximize results and drive efficiency in time and paid media spend.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research, create a strategy for, and lead digital marketing campaigns and efforts from concept to execution through our current mediums, including but not limited to websites, blogs, advertising, electronic communications, public relations, social media, promotional merchandise, and trade shows
  • Evaluate, vet, and recommend new digital marketing solutions that directly coincide with department and company goals and key strategic initiatives and increase customer touch points
  • Identify digital trends, emerging technologies, and analytical insights to provide thought leadership and perspective on how to optimize spend, performance, and our marketing approach
  • Review digital marketing effort performance and, using the analytics, present future recommendations for modified or new approaches that improve the overall customer experience
  • Work closely with IT/DCX to proactively and reactively ensure that websites are optimized for SEO/SEM and create strategy and best practices on the utilization of Google AdWords and PPC
  • Regularly evaluate our digital marketing strategy and approach from an end-to-end customer experience perspective across all segments and define ways to improve current processes and recommend new technologies and tactics
  • Analyze provided research on customer behaviors, voice of customer, and market demands to improve the value of the digital content delivered to customers
  • Lead digital marketing continuous improvement efforts and track performance to show the results on the department and company
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises supervisory and non-supervisory employee(s)
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Working with Human Resources on employee issues
  • Maintains a climate that attracts, retains, and motivates top quality personnel
