Overview

IGT Indiana is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to help advance the development of innovative and rewarding digital player experiences for the Hoosier Lottery.  The ideal candidate is an integrated and pioneering digital marketer with a strong background in digital channel strategy including marketing automation, content management, customer relationship management, social media, campaign execution, analytics, and is experienced working successfully with cross-functional teams. 

The successful candidate will effectively lead the Digital Marketing team to connect content across all platforms and channels including social, web, mobile app, and the myLOTTERY loyalty platform.  In this position, the candidate will guide the personal development of their direct reports to improve overall performance as digital marketing professionals.  The candidate will ensure adherence to the Marketing Code of Conduct and Responsible Gaming standards and deliver IGT Indiana’s revenue commitments.  This person will own the relationship with digital agencies and vendors, set clear objectives, and manage agency/vendor activities contributing to the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Development – 30%

•             Participate in development of campaign creative briefs and manage agencies to develop launch strategies and ensure flawless execution

•             Guide the process of digital creative development and media planning and buying in order to meet player acquisition targets

•             Oversee the management of budgets for digital marketing and CRM activity; Ensure campaign ROIs are optimized 

Player Engagement – 30%

•             Lead the development of myLOTTERY loyalty program, recommending ongoing optimization to improve player experience, therefore improving commercial performance

•             Leverage player segmentation insights to define audience and channel strategy to achieve optimal business results in context of the customer journey and user flow

•             Lead the development of a data strategy, monitor KPIs, and maximize insights from player data to inform future digital marketing strategies and platform optimization

•             Manage the mobile app strategy, including operational timelines and coordination with software development team

•             Create editorial messaging calendar to guide social media and website content; Oversee flawless execution within internal teams and agencies

Additional Responsibilities

Strategic Development & Goal Setting – 15%

•             Lead the development of a comprehensive digital content strategy that supports business goals across multiple teams – Brand, Sponsorships and Events, PR, Product, and Corporate Responsibility – bringing content to life across all digital touchpoints

•             Build integrated media and digital strategy and plans across paid, owned, and earned channels to drive awareness, consideration and adoption of products, apps and services

•             Establish Key Performance Indicators for digital engagement and guide the development of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy

•             Maximize player acquisition, retention and lifetime value for Hoosier Lottery’s loyalty program, myLOTTERY

Integration and Coordination – 15%

•             Oversee digital agency relationships, ensuring that individual campaigns are strategically executed, and annual operational plan is carried out 

•             Ensure agency performance is managed through quarterly evaluations

•             Ensure that all digital marketing is fully evaluated, and the results are disseminated in a timely fashion to all relevant stakeholders

•             Oversee relationships with commercial partners and ensure relationships are built and maintained through quarterly business reviews, formal and informal meetings as appropriate

Team Leadership

Team Leadership – 10%

•             Provide leadership to direct reports, ensuring strategic alignment and flawless execution of all digital activities

•             Develop team members through ongoing coaching and guidance, annual performance reviews, and creation of individual development plans

•             Collaborate and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to scope projects; Be the trusted partner to our internal teams, agencies, and vendors

•             Communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders to share plans, processes, and results

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
  • 8+ years total with at least 5 years in digital marketing in-house or at media, marketing or advertising firms or agencies
  • Minimum 3 years managing a team of 2 or more direct reports with proven business results
  • Business-to-Consumer marketing experience within a fast-paced retail environment preferred
  • Experience working with a content management platform such as AEM, Drupal, Kentico, Sitecore, or similar platform
  • Experience working with marketing automation platforms or customer relationship management platforms like Airship, Braze, Marketo, Salesforce, or similar platform
  • Experience managing Social Media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube) and utilizing social media platforms such as Falcon, Hootsuite, Social Studio, or similar
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing programs with budgets exceeding $1 million each
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Project management and task orientation, able to track multiple elements in multiple stages of development
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to function independently, which includes prioritizing and organizing work
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to setting and individually meeting deadlines
  • Ability to analyze problems and make appropriate decisions
