Description
The Digital Marketing Manager will lead MaxCyte's web strategy while driving tactical implementation of the global digital plans. They will act as MaxCyte's webmaster, and main point of contact for website administration tasks, content creation and best practices with the goal to continuously enhance digital content and functionality to drive web performance. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing external developers/agencies as well as supporting analytics and reporting insights on content, SEO and other digital activities' performance.
Work Location: Hybrid (onsite at MaxCyte's headquarters located in Rockville, Maryland, 2-3 days per week, or as needed)
* Leads web strategy and execution for MaxCyte.com by enhancing content and functionality to make MaxCyte.com best in class website in the life science industry
* Develops and executes a web content strategy and plan to support MaxCyte's brand, marketing initiatives, and buyer's journey
* Ensures optimal website performance through testing, troubleshooting issues, and conducting content audits and gap analyses
* Manages website development projects and collaborates with cross-functional teams on content creation aligning to product messaging
* Ensures content meets quality standards and SEO best practices
* Creates and analyzes reports on content performance and ROI
* Manages vendors and technology integrations related to Maxcyte.com
* Measures and optimizes web traffic, conversion rates, and other KPIs
* Stays up to date on digital marketing and web trends and technologies
* Manages other projects as needed to support digital marketing initiatives
* Complies with all applicable policies regarding health, safety, and the environment
Requirements
* BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or Computer Sciences or related field with 8 years of experience managing website content via a Content Management System (CMS)
* Superb written and verbal communication skills
* Strong WordPress Knowledge required, HTML and CSS preferred
* Solid working knowledge of SEO, E-commerce, and Paid Search best practices
* Proficiency with Google analytics and Google ads platforms
* Excellent UI and digital journey experience applied to B2B audience
* Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required
* Some understanding and passion to learn about new technologies such as AI powered tools and other upcoming technologies building efficiencies for marketing team
* Require occasional travel (up to 10% Domestic or International)

Salary Description
Min. starting salary $118,000/yr, depends on exp.
