Job Description

Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui's distinguished all-suite and villa luxury resort, seeks a creative and forward-thinking Digital Marketing Manager. This role is pivotal in steering our digital narrative, enhancing our brand presence, and engaging our audience during an exciting period of transformation and growth. Situated on the pristine shores of Wailea's Polo Beach, our resort is celebrated for its elegance, cultural immersion, and the heartfelt aloha spirit we share with our guests. As the cornerstone of our marketing team, your mission will be to craft and implement comprehensive digital strategies that resonate with our brand's ethos and drive meaningful engagement. This position is based on-site.

Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

What you will be doing:

Digital Strategy and Revenue Optimization

  • Strategize with digital agencies to manage and optimize paid search, display, and positioning strategies. Ensure alignment with our business goals, continuously explore new market opportunities, and keep abreast of emerging technologies and platforms.
  • Spearhead digital revenue enhancement by devising effective strategies and tactics aimed at maximizing digital channel contributions.
  • Lead the stewardship of corporate digital initiatives and projects, guaranteeing their successful execution, implementation, and reporting, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Conduct detailed analytics and reporting. Leverage tools like Google Analytics and agency reports to derive actionable insights. Present these insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making.

Content and Asset Management

  • Ensure the hotel's website content is consistently updated, reflecting the latest in brand messaging and resort offerings, maintaining relevance and alignment with our positioning.
  • Oversee the creation, storage, and effective deployment of digital assets, including images, videos, and textual content.
  • Manage and integrate third-party content and strategies, ensuring seamless alignment with our overarching digital strategy.

Social Media and Engagement

  • Provide strategic guidance for social media activities, ensuring consistent, brand-aligned messaging across platforms.
  • Craft and oversee paid social advertising campaigns to reach target audiences and achieve marketing objectives effectively.
  • Develop and refine email marketing campaigns, focusing on audience engagement and driving specific business outcomes.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience in at least one area of Marketing, Public Relations and/or Social Media required
  • Profound knowledge across a spectrum of marketing communication channels, including traditional, digital, and social media.
  • Must have a proven portfolio of Marketing/Communications work
  • Proficient in Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative programs
  • Must possess a skillful knowledge of applicable Graphic Design software
  • Adept at critical analysis and managing large sets of data.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures, effectively communicating with various stakeholders from department heads to corporate leadership.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language
  • Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a keen focus on attention to detail and follow-up
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
  • Must be service oriented and capable of communicating effectively with persons involved in all levels of authority, both internally and externally
  • Must possess basic computational ability
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure / timelines
  • Must have ability to work independently and to prioritize or seek clarification in prioritizing work assignments
  • Must be able to anticipate, prevent and identify problems and solve them as necessary
  • Maintain a professional working environment and attitude.

Education:

  • High School diploma (or equivalent) and/or vocational training
