Description
The Digital Marketing Manager will lead overall strategy and execution across Valet Living's digital channels (with an emphasis on websites, social and digital advertising). This is not an entry level position; demonstrated previous experience and the ability to speak knowledgably about past performance and current trends is critical to success in this position. The person we're looking for is great at their craft, with the humility to be part of a team with other talented SMEs. The Digital Marketing Manager will serve as Valet Living's resident expert in website optimization, social media management, digital advertising, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Location: 100% remote
Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000
The actual base salary offered to a candidate will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education, and skills/ achievements, and may vary from the listed range.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Evaluate and optimize current social media, web, and digital advertising strategies
- Advise and offer strategic recommendations on how to most efficiently and effectively use Valet Living's owned, earned and paid channels to reach a variety of target markets with the most effective digital messaging possible
- Design and execute Search Engine Optimization (SEO) campaigns to help Valet Living and MultiPro leverage their respective positions in the market
- Analyze, interpret, and report on social media and web site metrics in order to guide strategy and implementation of new campaigns going forward. Contribute related information to reports and presentations for the Executive team and field management on an as-needed basis
- Manage all relationships with agencies who assist in our SEO and AdWords efforts
- Track industry trends in content and social marketing and identify opportunities for Valet Living to expand its footprint
- Serve as the functional expert on paid and organic social media for the organization
- Maintain and edit content on the ValetLiving.com web site using WordPress engine
- Monitor competitor digital marketing activities
- Design and lead reputation management campaigns using Google Business Profiles, Glassdoor, etc.
- Manage, monitor and maximize engagement on all external and internal social media channels for Valet Living's social media pages including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Workplace, Torch Fitness, etc.
- Place digital advertising and track the results of social media advertising spend
- Plan and post professional visuals and multimedia content that reflect the Valet Living
- Assist the Marketing department on the development and execution of content and scheduling of promotions, news and responding to clients and multifamily residents
- Coordinate the internal content needs of the organization, manage the content calendar and execute daily digital content
- Maximize social media presence at trade shows and internal/external events, including video capture and live streaming via Facebook live, Workplace and other streaming technologies
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve client and resident service issues in digital spaces through Artificial Intelligence (AI), live chat and social media platforms
- Proactively engage in communication with followers on Valet Living's social media accounts
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in cross-platform execution of social content
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in digital marketing
- Experience working at a company with 500+ employees
- Thorough understanding of paid and organic trends and opportunities on social platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Workplace, Hootsuite and Sprout Social
- Experience/proficiency with Google Analytics
- Keen understanding of Google AdWords and/or SEM agency management
- Hands-on experience with an SEO platform (BrightEdge, SEMrush, etc) and a demonstrated history of success with a related platform is a firm requirement
- Demonstrated history of executing digital advertising campaigns with a positive, closed-loop ROAS
- Command of WordPress website editing platform and related tools
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of audiences
- Specific expertise in writing for digital channels
- Strong knowledge of and passion for technology and social media in a business and strategic context
- Must be able to effectively prioritize and assign work and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards in all work
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), Final Cut Pro is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
- Bonus points for any unique skills (bowling, baking, charades, etc) likely to help the marketing department excel at company gatherings, creating uncertainty among other corporate support functions including Legal, Finance, IT and HR. #Dominate
