We are looking for a dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to play a key role in driving the rapid growth of our organization. In this hybrid role, you will lead all marketing functions, encompassing budget management, analysis, search function optimization, and content development. The ideal candidate will have a specialization in PPC and possess substantial knowledge in other related categories.

What you will be doing

Planning Support:

  • Develop comprehensive annual and monthly forecasts and plans for all channels (Search, Social, Affiliates) aligned with business goals.
  • Lead the execution of the marketing plan.
  • Regularly review progress against plans, identifying necessary actions to address internal and external issues, and actively participate in implementing corrective actions.

Coordination of Campaign Development:

  • Provide digital support for campaigns, including budgeting, target setting, and messaging within integrated campaigns for the product portfolio.
  • Ensure strategy relevance through research on competitive spend and awareness levels, recommending changes as needed.
  • Manage the execution of digital marketing campaigns across SEM, Social, Display, and Affiliates channels.
  • Maintain channels according to industry standards and best practices.
  • Lead and coordinate the execution of communications, ensuring clear understanding of business objectives, timeline, budget management, asset development, and alignment with overall brand guidelines.

Marketing & Digital Insight:

  • Understand the digital experience and its application to each channel, considering competitive position, market position, customer journey, and channel requirements.
  • Stay informed about marketing trends, leveraging external publications, trade sources, and other information for self-storage.
  • Stay abreast of innovative marketing and digital approaches related to external and internal communication.
  • Utilize market knowledge, customer information, and analytics tools to assess customer needs and make recommendations for overall business improvement.
  • Evaluate executed programs holistically, analyzing across channels, messages, offers, competition, etc., to derive shareable insights.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal partners and external partners.
  • Represent the company in any discussions regarding digital marketing with stakeholders and industry partners.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of digital channels and proficiency in digital success metrics.
  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies.
  • Possession of a Post-Secondary Degree in Marketing/Business or equivalent related experience.
  • 6-8 years of proven experience in digital marketing across search, social, and display platforms.
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with self-serve advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Experience in Websites, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and optimization techniques is a plus.
  • Competence in working with digital analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Proven ability to evaluate digital creative copy/design and campaign landing pages for optimization.
  • Exposure to a Financial Services environment and/or experience in performance/acquisition-driven campaigns is considered an asset.
  • Preferable experience working in an Advertising Agency or managing an Agency.
  • Having experience working within the self-storage industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with branding, messaging, and public relations in a digital context.
  • Physical ability to lift and move 35 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally.
