Digital Marketing Manager

Full-time HYBRID (required Mon + Thurs in office)

Location: Whippany, NJ

Salary: $65,000 - $68,000 + Benefits

We are looking for someone with experience working with multiple brands in the digital marketing space, a highly organized, strong communicator, and a rock-star content creator and technical wizard. We are making an amazing impact and need someone who can hit the ground running to bring new ideas to the table and execute our strategy.

The candidate will develop social media campaigns, research trends, write content, outreach to influencers, post, and monitor and report on success. Reporting to our Director, Digital Marketing Strategy, you will work closely with our marketing team to ensure coordination with all our external communication.

What you'll be working on:

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption.
  • Grow our social media presence.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Work with our program, engagement and fundraising teams to create a social media strategy that promotes our impact through storytelling.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network.
  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management and content developers.
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  • Create timely and engaging content optimized for platform used and intended audience.

About you – Requirements & Skills for this role

  • Experience (2 to 5 years) within digital marketing or a similar role.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Proven success with social media campaigns specifically designed to build brand awareness, cultivate relationships, and raise funds.
  • Knowledge and experience with common management and reporting tools for social media and Google Analytics.
  • A passion for staying current with social media trends and tools.
  • Excellent copywriting and copy-editing skills.
  • Ability to respond and post as current events arise.
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • A passion for building relationships with those who can/will tell our story.
