Company Website: www.freyranch.com/whiskey Position Summary: Role: Digital Marketing ManagerReports to: VP of Marketing & Sales Frey Ranch Distillery is seeking a digital marketing expert to serve as our internal “digital champion”, acting as a leader and educator of digital marketing applications within the organization. This role will work with the VP of Marketing and the founding team to translate core brand/product messages across the digital realm.This is a hands-on role that requires a lot of ingenuity, flexibility and a passion helping others and creative a world-class customer service experience for our consumers and business partners. The role will be remote, ideally located in Reno/Northern Nevada and will require travel to the Frey Ranch in Fallon, NV a minimum of one day per week in order to capture social media content and strategize with the Founders and team. Responsibilities:Below is a partial list of job duties and functions, the role will evolve and grow as the company continues to grow and expand. Responsibilities:
• Digital Championo Leader and educator of digital marketing applications within organization.o Work with the team to translate core brand/product messages to the digital realm.
• Website Managemento Work with external agency partner to:§ Continually update and improve the freyranch.com experience and content § Management and on-going optimization of the website UX and design§ Review monthly website statistics for insights + opportunities E-commerceResponsible for overseeing all day-to-day ecommerce activity and strategy across our well-established e-commerce program Use market research, customer surveys, and web analytics data to understand customer needs, discover competitive and functional gaps, and identify new opportunities.Develop new site features for the site based on strategic priorities, industry experience, customer feedback, and marketplace research.Develop Affiliate marketing program to reach new audienceso Manage e-commerce customer service inquiries and complaints o Manage programs and relationships with external e-com partners, including but not limited to Flaviar, Reserve Bar and Seelbach’so Provide regular reporting and insights related to our e-com business and operations
• Social Media o In conjunction with external social media agency, manage social media channels including developing content, photography assets and assist our founder with community managemento Creation of outstanding assets including copywriting, posting, responding to comments. Developing creative partnerships, for instance, photography. o Implementation and optimization of social media campaigns/audience management - with a strong focus on Facebook/Instagram platforms, and whatever the heck comes next!o Coordinating the use of social media across markets, founders, other team members.o Support off-line brand activity to amplify and ensure consistency in messaging. o Keep the finger on the pulse: evaluating trends, consumer insights, competitor activities, market research and data to inform ongoing development of marketing and digital activities.o Developing and maintaining digital assets for our trade partners & customerso Understanding of the paid digital media landscape including media buying, partnerships, reporting and budget management
• Live Eventso Occasionally attend industry & lifestyle events on behalf of Frey Ranch (note: could require evening and weekend hours)§ Primarily regional & local Northern Nevada events + Events hosted at Frey Rancho Manage private event RSVP’s through digital platformso Extend live event impact through digital coverage & content
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM)o Manage our robust email community including but not limited to:§ Design content for regular email blasts including events + new product launches§ Evaluate data and statistics for insights and opportunities and learnings § Manage CRM databases (currently Mailchimp)
• Agency management + coordination (digital & social partners)
• A limited amount of regional travel will be required to attend events, visit customers and attend meetings *Additional duties + responsibilities may be added as required Required Experience
• Bachelors degree in business management, marketing, journalism, public relations, communications or equivalent background/experience in digital marketing
• 3+ years of experience delivering engaging stories through digital and social media channels.
• Prior experience in the Spirits industry is a plus.
• Photography & copywriting skills for social media content
• Own & maintain a Good working vehicle (Mileage provided for work vehicle use)
• Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) email, and web-based applications
• Team player with a can-do attitude with flexibility to take on new responsibilities as-needed
• Proven ability to work with little supervision or direction
• Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial, hands-on and non-corporate environment.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid driver’s license + insurance required

• 50% Employee discount on whiskey and 30% on merchandise at tasting room (limits on limited release products)
