POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Works as part of the Corporate Communications & Experience team to support Community First marketing efforts. The Manager of Digital Marketing manages all digital communication platforms for the organization, including but not limited to public websites, secure sites, email marketing, and SMS. The Manager of Digital Marketing strategizes based on target audience, user trends, industry standards, Google search activity, and various channels. Proposes, writes, and publishes keyword-focused digital marketing content including web pages, blog posts, and emails in an engaging, accurate, and search engine optimized manner. Interviews subject matter experts to take pertinent information and turn it into consumer-friendly, easy-to-understand content in various formats. Collaborates with team to optimize web content using keyword research and meta tags. Continuously maintains and improves websites and other content to effectively communicate services and improve organic search results and overall branding. Works with Director of Creative Services to develop and implement website governance plan to ensure content is reviewed and updated on a timely basis. Understands the digital customer journey and ways to communicate key messaging at various touchpoints. Contributes to the process of UX design, to ensure that content is appropriately structured to meet the goals for the site and supported platforms. Analyzes, measures, reports, and optimizes digital content performance via Google Analytics. Proactively identifies and recommends website improvements. Keeps abreast of industry trends regarding search engine optimization and algorithm changes.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or related field is required. Three years of journalism, communications or content writing experience is required. Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing a must. Utilizes effective writing techniques that support search engine optimization and keyword placement. Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics required. Experience with user-experience design, content marketing strategy, and/or user persona design to drive content creation a plus.
