Job Description: The State University of New York at Fredonia is hiring a Digital Marketing Manager. The manager will lead paid digital and organic social media strategies for student recruitment, including undergraduate, graduate, international, and transfer students. The manager will strategize, plan, and execute integrated strategic marketing efforts to reach prospective students from inquiry generation through deposit and enrollment.This new position will utilize multiple acquisition channels, including but not limited to organic and paid search, paid advertising, purchased lists, email marketing, social media marketing, and optimized websites. The manager will also be the campus social media "champion" and will execute our organic social media strategy for campus, and will share that strategy across all areas. Be a social media "champion" for departments and divisions across campus who need assistance growing their social media voice, and provide best practices and feedbackAssist in creating and/or deployment of social/digital ad campaignsMonitor social media channels and alert campus leadership of trends any items that require immediate attentionLead a team of student social media ambassadors in showcasing student life at FredoniaAnalyze social media data to help inform future content strategyCollaborating closely with marketing and communications teams and other content creators to ensure that content aligns with brand strategy, dynamically shares our story, and meets University standardsBe aware of, understand, and follow all university policies. Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree from accredited university in a related field, such as Public Relations, English, Journalism, or Marketing.3+ years experience in integrated marketing, i.e. online digital marketing, email marketing, newsletters, print brochures.Experience with collecting data via Google Analytics, and interpreting the information.Extensive knowledge of marketing principles and strategiesProfessional experience in social media management and strategy for a company or institutionExcellent grammar and writing skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years experience in integrated marketing for higher education, in an agency or in-house settingGoogle Analytics certificationExpert knowledge of digital marketing tactics including SEO, A/B testing, CRO, and data modelingExperience using a CRM for marketing activities, including designing and sending communication material (i.e. email), reviewing data and creating tags/links to track digital marketing campaigns Additional Information: This is a full-time, term appointed, UUP represented position with an annual salary of $70,000, beginning as soon as possible.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Fredonia prides itself on an outstanding workforce.
