DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

We are looking for an energetic and passionate person to work with our marketing and sales team to drive our brand awareness, audience engagement, lead generation and ultimately grow the business. This person will be responsible for web design and general maintenance, design social campaigns, craft posts and content, create video/creative content, track and optimize social + web metrics, and more.  The ideal candidate works well multi-tasking and thrives in an environment with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


•        Creation, proofing, and overall management of all digital marketing content.


•        Ensure updated, accurate and available digital content for media kits, sell sheets, catalog, web, etc.


•        Manage website accuracy, experience, functionality and maintenance utilizing experience with WordPress.


•        Assist with distributors/customers, providing any digital content requests.


•        Responsible for evolving and updated content to coincide with continuous improvement marketing efforts.


•        Generate strategic plans with a focus on demand generation.


•        Share recommendations with management for sales growth initiatives.


•        Manage product photos and videos.


•        Assist with design aspects, literature and other marketing material as needed.


•        Optimize advertising strategies to improve lead generation and web traffic.


•        Responsible for planning and executing marketing & sales campaigns: email and direct mail.


•        Oversee social media plans, design, content, and execution.


•        Manage SEO optimization internally and with partnering providers.


•        Engage in market research including competitive company and product analysis.


•        Act on analytics to improve customer experience and grow sales (SEO, website, customer accounts, etc.).


•        Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of VCI’s products.


•        Become a product expert on features & benefits, and product solutions in order to assist sales.


•        Assist in product/marketing education for co-workers and customers.


•        Be an active team player throughout VCI in order to achieve wider company objectives.


•        Maintain positive attitude and open line of communication with co-workers and customers.


•        Provide feedback and expert insight to management and cross-functional teams when needed.


•        Problem solve and generate practical and sensible solutions with your customers and colleagues.


•        Maintain daily and weekly activity within management database.


•        Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS


•        4-year degree in marketing, communications, digital content or related field.


•        2+ years of successful digital content experience.


•        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


•        Proficient in PC and internet skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM and ERP systems.


•        Proficient creative skills with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools.


•        Exceptional organization, presentation, writing and communication skills.


•        Proven competency with social media, email marketing strategy, website development, and web analytics.


•        Experience with WordPress and website management/development.


•        Experience in SEO to maximize site visibility, and knowledge of organic & paid web marketing techniques.


•        Experience implementing Digital Marketing strategies in a B2B and B2C sales environments.


•        Ability to work individually and as a team to efficiently complete tasks.
