The Digital Marketing Director will develop and implement the digital marketing strategy and leads tactical operations to increase product demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website, and promote an online presence. Utilize search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to the website. Lead the development, curation, and deployment of compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales. Employ social media, email, and mobile marketing campaigns. Review online statistics, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketing performance.

Although this position can be hybrid, it must be local to the Des Moines, IA area to work in the office 3 days/week.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Build, plan, and implement the overall digital marketing strategy to enhance company's online presence
    • Manage company websites and campaign landing pages to ensure a cohesive customer experience across web sites and channels
    • Review online statistics, changes to the budget and marketplace, and identify best practices to optimize online performance
    • Continuously improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics
    • Monitor, motivate and oversee a digital marketing team by developing solutions and goals to improve digital marketing tactics and processes
    • Oversee implementation of company's social media strategy, as well as email and mobile marketing campaigns
    • Stay up to date on latest technology and best practices

Required Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
    • 8 years of experience in digital marketing experience with 1-3 years leading people
    • Strong track record of managing a company's web presence across multiple sites as well as omni-channel marketing programs that support overall company growth
    • Growth-minded and results-oriented self-starter that can think strategically and execute tactically
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively across multiple departments as well as a variety of outside vendors, and internal and external customers
    • Hands-on experience with marketing automation software, Google Ads and Google Analytics, SEO tools, web site publishing and content management systems
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with a roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic and a "do-what-it takes" mindset to execute against the strategy

    • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
    • Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
