Description

Responsibilities

  • Help in planning promotions and campaigns, creating/editing/proofing/copywriting for various digital marketing and advertising opportunities
  • Assist in regularly auditing a portfolio of hotel and restaurant websites – making ongoing updates to website content and online assets using CMS platforms – developing and sourcing content as needed
  • Assist in ongoing audits/updates of content on third-party on-line travel sites (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.).
  • Monitor owned websites, search engines, and third-party listing / affiliate websites (Yelp, OpenTable, TripAdvisor, Resy, Cvent, WeddingWire, etc.) for accurate hotel / food & beverage outlet information and menu content; make updates and optimize content for peak performance
  • Optimize SEO across digital footprint
  • Implement and manage department project tracking system and communications between marketing team and stakeholders to ensure on-time project delivery
  • Attend bi-weekly marketing planning meetings, create/manage list of projects and deliverables including coordinating logistics and timelines, and creates task entries in project management system
  • Identify and develop ongoing improvement initiatives to streamline digital marketing production projects and enhance communication to stakeholders
  • Support on-property sales and operations teams with in-house guest marketing initiatives
  • Support creation and communication of new sales and operations marketing toolkit items
  • Support the Marketing & Communications team as needed and directed
  • Marketing range will at times extend outside of digital efforts and may include marketing coordination and support relative to print collateral, print production, signage, etc.
  • Assist in additional marketing duties as required/needed including event coordination efforts, public relations, procurement, asset acquisition, etc.
  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders in the field

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience, agency experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel Software
  • Experience with CMS website editing in WordPress, SquareSpace and Wix a plus
  • Experience with Email Marketing
  • Knowledge of web and digital analytics
  • Proficient in copywriting, proofing, and editing
  • Highly organized with experience in managing and executing marketing projects
  • Strong project management skills with a strength in time management skills, multi-tasking and managing multiple deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic, self-driven, with a desire to learn and grow
  • Ambitious, outgoing, and a joy to work with in a team environment
