Develops and maintains positive awareness of CGH Medical Center through digital media among CGH employees, general public, media, civic, social and professional organizations. The Digital Marketing & Media Coordinator will be an integral part of the team, responsible for helping maintain the CGH brand by working on digital and traditional marketing campaigns and strategies. Duties include planning and execution of our digital advertising campaigns, search engine optimization, content creation, social media strategies, as well as the measurement and reporting of these activities. Provides support for CGH Health Foundation, and all departments of the hospital.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Plans and implements digital public relations programs and activities. Develops and produces press releases, journalistic articles and other forms of communication, such as the CGH Website, and communication intended for public and internal education and promotion.
  • Assists in the development of the annual marketing plan to include the timing of digital ads, geo-fencing programs, location, frequency and budgetary constraints. Maintains up-to-date files of CGH and competitive hospital public relations and digital advertising activities.
  • Maintains awareness of CGH status and services within the CGH service area.
  • Provides assistance to CGH employees and physicians that will appear in the media.
  • Responsible for production and content of Communiqué and other newsletters, and inventories and orders internal communications.
  • Plans the ordering and distribution of premium and incentive items, i.e.- T-shirts, pins and other promotional items.
  • Produces regular press releases on activities at CGH and its relation organizations.
  • Assists with graphics activities, such as preparation of brochures, ad layouts and flyers.
  • Assists with taking photos in hospital departments and at special events.
  • Assists with maintenance of website and updates.
  • Manage all areas of digital marketing & social media distribution. This includes scheduling content, management and optimizing all posts for reach and engagement. Develop, implement, and lead media strategy for various channels (including Google Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram, and other third-party ad sources (such as editorial sites and event sponsorships) to build brand awareness, generate loyalty and patient visits to service lines.
  • Oversee and manage agency partners and third-party sites as it relates to paid ads. Maintain and manage multiple pages on different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Define, analyze and optimize on important metrics for paid media performance. Provide monthly campaign reports including brand awareness and overall return on advertising spend
  • Advise and manage paid and unpaid ads and budgetary goals
  • Measure the success of every paid media campaign based on the performance. Monitor analytics, audience sentiment, social media trends, brand awareness and online reputation management.
  • Works with manager to design and bring the most effective ads and digital media plans to market.
  • Content and asset creation (social media design and copywriting, video production and editing)
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital media best practices and technologies. Brainstorm and collaborate with internal teams on new ideas and tactics. Work closely with Marketing on campaigns and branding to maintain across all platforms.
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned.

SPECIALIZED KNOW-HOW & REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's Degree required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or digital marketing related field, or four years equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of current Public Relations and/or Digital Marketing work strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, (Rush/Premier Pro, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator) and web design knowledge required.
  • 2+ years of direct hands-on experience executing, running, and managing digital display campaigns, SEM campaigns (Google AdWords), and social media ad campaigns (Facebook/LinkedIn Ads) preferred.
  • B2B social media fluency, native use and knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and their ad platforms preferred.
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, collaboration and the ability to effectively multi-task are all a plus.
  • Knowledge of video production and editing programs strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEO, including keyword research, meta-data, link building, and best practices preferred.
  • A basic understanding of HTML & CSS preferred.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain an appropriate and valid driver's license required for some assignments.
