WUTV/WNYO is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Digital Marketing / Sales Consultant who will meet or exceed revenue goals by designing creative client campaigns that drive desired business results. The ideal candidate will showcase his or her strategic and entrepreneuial expertise by building collaborative relationships and providing customer solutions to local and regional businesses through an integrated suite of media platforms.  If you have a passion for everything digital and are highly self-motivateed to achieve success, then this is the place for you!

In this position, you will:

  • Be accountable for local digital revenue performance: working both strategically and tactically with other sales executives on the team
  • Responsible for driving primarily new digital sales (by assessing and facilitating the use of best practices in solutions-based selling)
  • Collaborating with the team to up-sell existing key account advertisers, while driving retention
  • Creative effective digital marketing strategies incorporating Small Business Tacrics, Station Owned Assets, Over-The-Top (OTT/CTV) video delivery, SEM/SEO, Programmatic Targeting, and full suite of digital solutions
  • Assist in managing accountability to performance by reviewing digital metrics, including forecasting to maximize opportunities and determine areas for improvement
  • Network regionally¬†and locally to stay abreast of emerging digital trends and solutions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Superior business acumen related to new media, digital interactive initiatives and social media required
  • Media sales experience preferred and an excellent understanding of tv and media plans, advertising marketplace, and key competition
  • Ability to quickly recover from adversity
  • Ability to effectively communicate, build rapport and relate well to all kinds of people
  • Professional appearance a must
  • Reliable transportation, valid drivers license and a satisfactory driving record

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience selling digital marketing solutions preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or advertising
  • Certified in Google Academy for Ads is preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital assets and current digital trends, as well as TV and media planning, advertising marketplace and key competition
  • Hands on experience developing new business as a skilled negotiator
  • Proficient in the use of CRM tools and MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent communication, presentation, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
