Title: Digital Marketing consultant

Experience required:

1) Around 8-10 years of experience in IT domain with around 5 years of proven work experience in

digital marketing space

2) Experience in varied digital marketing engagements like

consulting(strategy)/implementations/operations etc., with part of at least 2-3 sizeable digital

marketing enablement engagements

3) Expertise in content and commerce space – with functional knowledge of leading digital experience

/Ecommerce product suites

4) Working in digital marketing COE will be added advantage

5) Experience in managing and contributing to pre-sales activities like proposal creation and

presentation etc.

6) Up-to date on latest trends in digital marketing and well aware of areas like CRM, SEO, Social media

marketing, email-marketing etc.

7) Experience in working with digital/creative agencies and ability to work across globally distributed

virtual teams

8) Played customer facing roles and sound experience in handling customer independently

9) Strong customer focus – expertise in understanding customer needs (stated and unstated) and

provide possible alternatives

10) Ability to build & maintain strong customer, partner and team relationship

11) Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills

12) Education – Masters in Business Administration  from reputed B-school or a Marketing related post

graduate program

13) Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

14) Support Team building and drive organization’s digital initiatives

15) Experience with agile tools like JIRA for requirements management

16) Experience of close working with customer product owners for requirements elicitation and


17) Experience of working as a proxy product owner to represent and support geographically distributed

development team in project lifecycle including requirement estimation, verification and validation

Work Description:

1.) Product Owner

a. Carry out visioning workshops

b. Work closely with customer stakeholders to define product roadmap

c. Backlog grooming

d. User story detailing

2.) Carry out Discovery and Definition exercises for digital marketing/commerce initiatives

a. Understand high level requirement

b. Facilitate brainstorming sessions

c. Work closely with creative agencies to understand requirements

d. Detail out requirements

e. Collaborate with creative agency and brand marketing during the lifecycle of projects

3.) Carry out CoE activities

a. Participate in pre-sales by understanding requirements , defining proposal level functional

scope and proposing a winning approach

b. Present capabilities and proposals to customers

c. Create presales level presentations

d. Be a digital marketing thought leader and publish whitepapers on digital marketing topics
