About UFCU

As Austin’s largest locally-owned financial institution, University Federal Credit Union is a financial institution owned by, dedicated to, and always working for our Members. Our mission at UFCU is simple: to provide for the well-being of our Members. We’re proud to focus on people — not profits. We deliver fair and honest products and outstanding service, and we work collaboratively within our organization as well as our community to help Members achieve their personal and financial goals.

UFCU Mortgage Services has ranked as the ABJ #1 Mortgage Lender for 5 years, with over 20 Loan Officers on the Top Loan Officer list. We have closed over $1 billion dollars in loans for the second year in a row and have helped over 4,600 members this year achieve the dream of homeownership or financial security. Though we are proud of our standing as the Top Credit Union, Healthiest Employer in Austin, Best Places for Working Parents, Gallup’s Most Engaged Workplaces, and Top Mortgage Company, we are more proud of our people-first culture. We value our employees as much as our Members. We offer an environment where people care about each other – like family.
