Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Associate will be instrumental in UFCU’s digital transformation. This position will create and execute insight driven social media campaigns to promote UFCU products, services, and culture. The Associate will collaborate with the extended Marketing team to create brand awareness and generate leads through target audience definition, campaign development, and social media plan execution.

Essential Functions

Social Media:

  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to create and execute a holistic, high-growth social media strategy
  • Manage social media content and daily execution of all organic social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and emerging social media platforms
  • Write, produce, and share content that drives follower growth, engagement, awareness and affinity
  • Engage with our followers, customers and community across all platforms
  • Collaborate with the design team on social media templates, style and design
  • Identify and implement emerging social media trends and opportunities
  • Work with Digital Marketing Manager and agencies to optimize content to meet goals
  • Manage profiles on review management and community platforms and drive new reviews
  • Stay up-to-date on social media best practices and educate the marketing team
  • Provide marketing support for large-scale partnerships and initiatives
  • Uphold UFCU’s mission, vision, and brand voice

Other:

  • Performs other duties related to digital marketing as assigned.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Maintain strict adherence and compliance to all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls specific to your role.

Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field (an additional four (4) years of experience may substitute degree)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related marketing and social media experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience and knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, WordPress, Google Analytics, and blogging. An understanding of the social media landscape and application of understanding to online channels.
  • Experience working in the financial industry.
