Position Overview:
The Digital Marketing Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting key marketing performance metrics across paid, owned, and earned channels. This position requires the ability to translate raw data into actionable insights. The Digital Marketing Analyst will support the Director of Portfolio Marketing in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing plans across paid, owned, and earned channels and will assist with management of property-level budgets and website content. The Digital Marketing Analyst will interact with various business partners to help drive effective and efficient marketing and web efforts for the purposes of elevating and enhaning awareness of the master JBG SMITH brand and its property assets, driving customer demand, acquisition, and strengthening customer retention.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Develop actionable insights beyond standard reporting to support marketing campaigns
+ Create and maintain KPI dashboards for internal stakeholders that track performance metrics, insights and impacts from testing hypothesis
+ Present data driven insights and performance metrics to stakeholders
+ Proactively use data analysis to identify website and marketing automation optimization
+ Manage website content updates
+ Assist with marketing and media planning, activation and optimization
+ Partner closely with IT/Digital and Revenue Management/Asset Management teams on performance and optimization strategies
+ Manage property-level marketing budgets
+ Assist in maintaining and improving compliance for lead tracking and source tracking standards in collaboration with IT/Digital team.
+ Assist the IT/Digital team with set up and maintenance of marketing technology systems and social media platforms
+ Support the marketing onboarding process for all new property launches, which includes: ensuring that all marketing systems and technology platforms are setup consistently and according to standards
+ Support the marketing disposition process, which includes: ensuring that all domains, social and reputation platforms are disconnected or transferred consistently and according to standards.
Qualifications and Skills Required for Position:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, Mathematics or equivalent technical field required
+ Strategic and creative thinking abilities
+ Comfort level with handling multiple projects at the same time
+ Understanding of performance marketing and web data and debugging tags with experience using Google Analytics and Tag Manager preferred. (BigQuery knowledge a plus)
+ Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables, data visualization); Experience with data visualization (Tableau preferred)
+ Strong presentation skills and ability to collaborate effectively across various functions
+ Passion for real estate industry
+ Experience in managing budgets
+ Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues, generate solutions, and have a close attention to detail.
+ Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams, resulting in strong collaboration and foster open communication with business partners and senior leadership.
+ Must be able to demonstrate sound business judgement and ability to work closely with senior leaders in the organization.
Qualification Requirements:
