Role Summary:

As a key member of our digital marketing team, you will collaborate with various channel managers and leadership to harness the power of data and drive impactful marketing strategies. Your expertise will be crucial in discerning trends, identifying opportunities, and addressing challenges across Paid Search, Display, Re-targeting, SEO/organic, and email campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analytics Architecture: Develop and maintain comprehensive marketing analytics frameworks by collaborating with internal stakeholders. Harness data sources, processes, KPIs, and campaign strategies to construct dashboards, reports, and tools that facilitate insightful tracking of outcomes.
  • Translating Data into Strategy: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to distill compelling narratives from analytics. Move beyond numbers to extract actionable insights that steer impactful business decisions. Analyze intricate data sets to fuel awareness, conversion, growth, and revenue.
  • Champion of Data Systems: Serve as the central authority in managing data, attribution, and reporting systems. Proficiently navigate various analytic platforms to craft a holistic story. Uphold data accuracy and accessibility across platforms including Power BI, Google Analytics, Salesforce, MS SQL Data Warehouse, and Marketo Analytics.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Data Storytelling: Proficient in conveying complex findings to non-technical audiences coherently and logically.
  • Analytics Tools: Hands-on experience with data visualization and BI reporting tools like PowerBI (preferred) or Tableau. Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio.
  • Data Acumen: Strong grasp of data quality concepts, best practices, and tools/technologies.
  • Data Management: Proficiency in data manipulation via programmatic languages like SQL, Excel, and graphical interfaces using marketing-specific technology.
  • Analytical Acuity: Effective problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making abilities.
  • Collaborative Competence: Thrives in collaborative environments, excels in interpersonal communication, both internal and external.
  • Tech Agility: Rapidly adapts to new technologies, systems, or software. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Meticulous Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail, adept at managing multiple concurrent tasks.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Data Governance: Experience participating in data governance programs.
  • Technical Liaison: Competent in evaluating and challenging IT team deliverables.
  • Project Management: Proficient in guiding data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Documentation Mastery: Strong technical writing, adept at creating process flowcharts.
  • Data Juggling: Skillful in handling extensive datasets in various formats (Excel, Access, SQL databases, etc.).
  • Business Intelligence: Exposure to BI, ETL, and data visualization platforms like PowerBI (Preferred), Tableau, Domo. Power BI certification highly desirable.
