The Senior Digital Media Buyer, as part of an in-house media team, is responsible for the set-up and constant optimization of omnichannel programmatic media campaigns utilizing multiple platforms. The campaigns are global in nature, with very targeted B2B audiences and KPIs, utilizing display, video, CTV, audio and native formats.

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Recommend strategies and manage the day-to-day execution of programmatic campaigns, translating marketing needs to high-performing solutions
  • Be a programmatic subject matter expert, keeping informed of industry trends, using this knowledge to innovate through new products, technologies, targeting tracking, media formats and optimization strategies
  • Collaborate with media team and actively participate in planning discussions, including on goals and objectives, target audience, resources, budget, and prioritization of KPIs
  • Oversee the build, trafficking, and launch of campaigns within DSPs ensuring accuracy and quality of campaign set up, including QA of ads, tags, etc.
  • Work with Analytics team to ensure plans will allow for accurate data collection, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • QA ads to ensure they meet site specs and requirements.
  • Generate, QA, and troubleshoot implementation of tracking tags.
  • Resolve tracking and reporting discrepancies with Analytics, Trafficking, and Ad Ops and/or partners/vendors.
  • Manage campaigns on a daily basis in and across platforms through optimization strategies, campaign insights, monitoring and adjusting pacing, controlling quality of inventory using ad fraud and brand safety levers, troubleshooting ads and tracking tags, etc. to with a relentless focus on ensuring that all KPIs are met (delivery, performance, revenue goals, etc.)
  • Provide recommendations that drive delivery and performance and assist with troubleshooting and technical issues, escalating when necessary
  • Communicate frequently with vendors/partners and media team to ensure continuity in campaign delivery
  • Present campaign performance reports, telling a clear performance story, to stakeholders and consistently demonstrate a commitment to results
  • Own special projects to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and measurement of programmatic media, partnering cross-functionally to achieve results
  • Present unique findings, industry updates, best practices, etc. to the larger Integrated Marketing team

Responsibility for Work of Others:

Ensure the accuracy and quality of campaign set-up done by Digital Media Buyer, providing direction on set-up and optimizations


· 4+ years of hands-on, self-serve management of programmatic media across several platforms (DV360, Ad Cloud, Quantcast, etc.) – including planning/strategy/buying, ad ops/trafficking and analytics

· Experience working with 3rd party ad servers (DCM/GCM) and ad verification (DoubleVerify)

· Robust analytical skills and ability to work with and analyze a large volume of complex data, along with experience in professional analytics tools (GA/AA)

· Familiarity with media buying platform preferred (Media Ocean/Prisma)

· Bachelor’s degree required

· Passion for continuing education in digital media and advertising technology

· Ability to manage multiple projects while staying focused on the details
