Description

The candidate filling this role will successfully plan, manage, deploy and evaluate content marketing programs & campaigns across vertical industry and application areas whilst working closely with customer facing teams. They will take responsibility to lead and develop the Content strategy for Sepura

Main duties:

  • working within the Marketing team with inputs from the Marketing Lead, Product Strategy group, Sales and customers
  • develop a strategy and calendar for content marketing initiatives
  • develop and manage a process to ensure all content requests are briefed, documented and executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner
  • working with appropriate agencies to brief, manage and deliver content as required
  • be the 'Brand Guardian' for the company ensuring all communications meet the company standards
  • create dynamic marketing copy for company collateral, sales tools, videos, blog entries, website, press materials etc. Ensure all output meets company standards for brand, design and quality
  • work with internal teams to develop new highly targeted and relevant sales tools to enhance levels of sales engagement through the company
  • build and maintain an effective digital asset management system
  • develop and execute ongoing marketing campaigns to target prospect and existing customers to build the sales funnel through acquisition and increasing spend with existing customers
  • develop content and customer journeys for Sepura websites, landing pages and PPC content to maximise engagement and conversion
  • create integrated, multi-touch digital marketing campaigns that support product, corporate and event activities for a range of B2B market sectors
  • assist in setting up and ongoing management of the company sales engagement systems delivering content and sales tools to our sales force and our distributor network around the world

This role may involve some travelling so the successful applicant having a full driving licence would be advantageous. Travel expenses will be paid

Additional duties may arise on a seasonal or ad hoc basis, or as the business requires

Experience

Essential

  • Proven Marketing experience within a B2B environment, ideally within technology or telecoms sectors with major account and bid based markets
  • Demonstrable content marketing experience within a B2B environment, across both digital and conventional technologies
  • Working as the curator of company brand and quality standards, leading the design and creation of content for internal and external use
  • Experience of direct people management and working within a geographically diverse matrix organisation
  • Working with and managing outside agencies to product work on time and to brief

Desirable

  • Experience in CRM and/or Marketing Automation tools
  • Knowledge of Marketing automation system Pardot/HubSpot
  • Experience/understanding of Account Based Marketing (ABM) theory and practice
  • Setting up and managing Digital Asset Management systems

Skills

Essential

  • Competence in using Adobe CS Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to engage with all levels of staff and suppliers
  • Strong project management skills across multiple stakeholders
  • Organised and able to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks to deadline
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading and English language skills
  • Proven ability to communicate in a variety of formats with an appreciation of target audience and use personae

Desirable

  • Technical understanding and competence in using a variety of digital marketing tools, including social media planning, website maintenance
  • Second or multiple language skills

Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 2-3 years appropriate work experience

Desirable

  • Relevant Marketing qualification e.g. CIM
  • Extensive practical experience is valued over qualifications

  • A self-starter, with a strong drive and goal-orientated approach
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a Global marketing team
  • Responsive and flexible attitude to change and short term demands and unexpected activities
