Digital Marketing Specialist


Digital Marketing Essential Functions:

Highly visible role, where you will be responsible for building and executing social media strategies through conducting marketing and industry research, identifying appropriate platforms and creative messaging, while optimizing brand recognition online and managing our eService offerings (electronic services such as website, online banking platform, mobile apps etc.) through collaboration and communication.

 

You must have the ability to think strategically, comprehend the power of a strong voice online as well as understand the importance of a solid work ethic, with aspirations to learn and grow within the organization. Additionally, you should have a passion for social media, website management, SEO and a desire to work within a creative team, implementing strategies to expand our brand digitally.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities & Duties

  1. Asses the market requirements for online channels, proactively research competitor and industry trends, investigates, defines and implements new strategies for social media marketing and online engagement
  2. Collaborate with the Marketing Team to support the integration of digital media plans across all campaigns and marketing efforts
  3. Resourcefully manage the membership experience with our eServices, through ensuring satisfactory engagement with our website, online banking platform, mobile apps etc.
  4. Execute strategies to increase SEO and improve upon our online presence and eService offerings
  5. Generate highly creative and measurable online media strategies and campaigns; including engagement plans, communication calendars and structures for reporting campaign effectiveness
  6. Monitor online conversations and communicate with a consistent brand voice, while delivering exceptional member service
  7. Work in partnership with teams to consistently evaluate procedures and ensure compliance with all of the Federal regulations for social and digital media marketing in the financial and credit union industry
  8. Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the Marketing team and the Credit Union

  • Brilliant communication skills, both written and oral
  • Sound project management skills with the ability to manage multiple missions in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to interface daily with brand leadership, creative team members, internal teams and external partners
  • Established risk management skills as well as proven decision making and problem solving skills in terms of monitoring social media conversations from the onset of an initiative to taking action and protecting the brand
  • Proficient in measuring behaviors and monitoring changes in opinion, social media conversations
  • Business and thought leadership skills necessary for effective relationship management and communication with internal teams and external partners
  • Solid business acumen with marketing experience preferred
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, HTML and SEO
  • Proficient in Social Media
